TrainBar is a training bar designed for kiters who want to progress faster by practicing on land. It reproduces the feeling of a real kite bar and lets you work on body positions, board-off tricks and movement control anywhere you can find a solid anchor point. No wind, no water, no waiting for the right conditions.

WHAT IT’S FOR

Board-off tricks are all about timing, body position and control. On the water you only get a few seconds per attempt, and every mistake costs you a crash and a long walk back upwind. TrainBar lets you slow everything down: break each trick into single movements, repeat them as many times as you need and build the muscle memory that makes the difference once you are back on the water. It is also a great tool to strengthen your grip, core and upper body with movements that are specific to kitesurfing.

WHO IT’S FOR

TrainBar is made for riders who want to learn their first board-off tricks, for advanced riders who want to perfect new variations, and for kite schools and coaches looking for a practical tool to explain positions and movements before going on the water.

Mount it anywhere
The biggest strength of TrainBar is freedom. The top hook, the same type used in climbing, clips directly onto bars, rings and anchor points. When the anchor is too big for the hook, like a tree branch, a wooden beam or a soccer goal, simply wrap one of the four included slings around it and clip the hook onto the sling. With four different lengths you can adapt to almost any spot: parks, gardens, garages, gyms, calisthenics areas or your kite school.

HOW IT WORKS

TrainBar is built around a central line that runs through the bar, just like a real kite bar. On top, a 3D-designed hub connects the central line to the bungee system. A removable pin lets you move the hub up or down, so you can adjust the bungee tension and choose how much pull you want to train with. The hook at the top is also adjustable, so you can set the right height for your body and your anchor point.

ADJUSTABLE TO YOUR LEVEL

Beginners can start with a softer setting to learn the positions, while advanced riders can increase the tension for a more dynamic and demanding session. The same bar grows with you as you progress.

TrainBar is not a kite simulator. It recreates the pull and the bar feel you need to train positions and board-off movements, so you can focus on your body instead of on flying the kite. That is exactly what makes it effective for breaking down tricks.
Yes. The central line ends with a loop you can hook into, so you can train with your harness on and reproduce the same position you have on the water.
Yes, and we recommend it. Training with your own board in your hands helps you get used to its weight, size and grip, so every movement translates directly to your next session.
TrainBar is designed for board-off tricks and all their variations, from your first board-off to the most technical ones. It is also great to work on body position, grabs and the timing of each movement.
The bar should sit where it would be while riding, with your arms slightly bent when you hold it. Use the adjustable hook and the length of the sling to get close, then fine-tune with the top hub until it feels natural.
It depends on the size and height of your anchor point. Short slings work best on beams and bars, where you want the bar high. Longer slings are ideal for thick branches or high anchor points where you need extra length to reach the right height.
Yes. Garages, gyms and any space with a solid beam or ceiling-mounted pull-up bar work perfectly, as long as you have enough room around you to move with your board.
No, and it is not meant to. TrainBar makes your time on the water more productive: you arrive already knowing the movement, so you spend your session landing tricks instead of learning them.
Yes. The height can be adjusted in seconds, which makes TrainBar perfect for kite schools, coaches and groups of friends training together.
After using it at the beach, rinse it with fresh water to remove sand and salt, and let it dry before storing it. Check hook, slings and bungee regularly and replace any part that shows signs of wear.
